How Can excessive Sweating Along With Weight Gain Be Treated?

I just had a TSH test done. My symptoms were weight gain, S.O.B, excessive sweating and overheating, muscle aches and I have lost nearly all my body hair. I m 63 yrs old. Should I be concerned that I may have hyperthyroidism?? My doctor has not been concerned with the TSH results of 0.695

Hi,

Your TSH is within the normal range (should be 0.4 - 4.0). This explains why your doctor is not concerned.

Apart TSH, I should evaluate your T3, T4 and another biochemistry panel like liver/kidney/pancreas function test, complete blood count; blood sugar levels, lipid profile testing; blood electrolytes?

A urine analysis should be carried out to rule out urinary tract problems, that might have caused increased weight or possibly edema.

Furthermore, I need to know if you are taking any medication on regular basis like statins? diuretics? or any other medication.

After analyzing all these data we can say the last word for the right diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
